Big-hearted Park Hae Jin donates big-time to flood victims

In East of Eden he played a bad guy hell-bent on stealing another person's girlfriend. In the upcoming television series Bad Guys, Park Hae Jin plays a psychopath with an IQ of 160.

But in reality actor Park Hae Jin, 31, is a big softie.

He recently donated 100 million won (about $123,000) for the people in Busan who were hit by flash floods last week. Chosun Media reported that flash floods in the south of the country have killed four people in South Korea's second-largest city.

The actor said he hopes his donation will help with relief efforts, with the Korean traditional Chuseok holidays nearing, Kpop site Soompi said.

Park had previously donated through UNICEF after the Sewol ferry accident last April. While the amount he gave was never made public, the actor had reportedly said the money was to help with the victims’ living expenses and psychotherapy.
