Miley's home robbed again
Miley Cyrus, who just got her home burgled again, has joined the list of celebrities who are targeted while they are on tour.
The 21-year-old Wrecking Ball singer was off on her Bangerz tour on the weekend when a man and a woman scaled a fence and broke into her San Fernando Valley home.
They got away with an unspecified amount of jewellery, along with her 2014 Maserati luxury sedan,
a Quattroporte, which start at US$102,500 (S$128,730), reported the Daily Mail.
The LAPD said officers from the department’s North Hollywood station responded to a report of a burglary on Friday (May 30) at Cyrus’ home.
It will be some time before she's back in the states though. Following her performance in Helsinki, Finland last night, the former Hannah Montana star will head to cities in Denmark, Germany, Spain and more before she gets a break in her schedule in July.
This is the second time the singer's home has been broken into. It was previously burgled in November (2013), the weekend that she turned 21. At that point, there were no signs of forced entry at the time and about $100,000 worth of her things were taken from the home.
Other stars hit on tour:
Rihanna: During one of her gigs in Australia, burglars crashed through the sliding glass door of her LA mansion and grabbed whatever they could before getting scared off by the alarm.
Kanye West: His home in the Hollywood Hills was visited by a couple of burglars before a member of his entourage, responsible for checking up on the house, realised things were amiss and contacted police. The cops determined that someone had broken into the home and got away with some unidentified valuables, some of which were dropped during the burglars’ exit.
