Barefaced beauties in Pirelli Calendar
The makers of Pirelli's 2017 calendar, known for its tasteful photos of nude or scantily dressed young women, have broken tradition for their next issue by featuring a mostly older cast with minimal make-up.
German photographer Peter Lindbergh, 72, wanted zero retouching "to convey a different kind of beauty".
He focuses mostly on faces - wrinkles and all.
Australian actress Nicole Kidman, 49, said she was happy Lindbergh had allowed the women to be their age.
"The voice of actresses is getting stronger," she said.
