M'sian girls who hugged B1A4 escape punishment

You better turn yourselves in within one week or we will arrest you.

This was what JAWI (The Federal Territories Islamic Department) had threatened three Malaysian girls with after they were discovered to have hugged B1A4 after the K-pop boy band's recent fan meeting in Malaysia.

The girls were being investigated for acts of public indecency after Sukan Star TV uploaded a video on to Facebook of them being embraced by the singers and suggestively titled it 'Perempuan melayu dicabul atas pentas oleh mat kpop semalam' (Malay girls molested on stage by K-Pop artists last night).

But the girls apparently have not turned themselves in.

This week, the Malay Mail Online reported that JAWI admitted they are unable to compel the girls to help with the investigation if they choose not to do so.

JAWI director Paimuzi Yahya told the media website: "There is nothing we (JAWI) can do. Nothing. If they turn up, we can give them advice. But if they don’t, and for now, they have not turned up, we cannot do anything."

“They have not come here, so we feel that perhaps they (the girls) have been advised by other people.”
