Woman starts petition demanding Beyonce comb Blue Ivy's hair

A woman has started a petition on Change.org requesting that married music stars Beyonce and Jay-Z "properly care" for their daughter Blue Ivy's hair. 

In the petition, a Brooklyn woman, Jasmine Toliver, said it is "disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture". 

According to Toliver, Blue Ivy's natural African-American hair now has "matted dreads and lint balls", thanks to her parents' neglect. 

Media outlets like E! and Complex magazine have rightly called the appeal "absurd", but within a day of its posting, the petition has received over 3,000 signatures, from netizens with comments like:

But other commenters on the petition have also blasted Toliver, with one called Jalanda Jordan saying: "Let's save the petitions for things that REALLY matter, okay? SMH (shake my head) at this nonsense!!"
