Expedia to study Asian travellers
The Expedia group launched its first Expedia Innovation Lab in Asia yesterday.
Based in Singapore, it aims to better understand Asian consumers online and their travel search and booking behaviour by using proprietary scientific methods.
There are two primary technical capabilities - eye tracking and electromyography technology - which will delve deep into how consumers engage with Expedia's websites to improve the sites and mobile applications.
