Lee Joon Gi to make Hollywood debut with Milla Jovovich

Lee Joon Gi is joining the likes of fellow countrymen Lee Byung Hun and Rain in taking a crack at Hollywood.

The 33-year-old Korean actor, who starred in film The King And The Clown, will make his debut alongside Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Jovovich made the announcement in an Instagram selfie with the caption "Night shoots with the incredible Korean actor and 3rd Dan martial artist Joon Gi" at the set in Cape Town, South Africa.

Set for a 2017 release, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will see Jovovich's heroine Alice back in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is preparing for a final strike against the survivors of the apocalypse.
