Movie Review: Bounty Hunters (PG)
Despite its stellar Asian cast and big budget - filming locations include Jeju Island,
Incheon and Bangkok - action comedy Bounty Hunters falls flat on its face, thanks to a boring, unoriginal plot.
Former Interpol agents Lee Shan (Korean hunk Lee Min Ho) and Ayo (Hong Kong actor Wallace Chung) are framed for the bombing of a hotel.
They join forces with legendary bounty hunter Cat (Chinese bombshell Tiffany Tang) and her intrepid team to nab the real criminal.
Not only are the jokes unfunny and cringeworthy, the movie's villain Tommy (Jeremy Tsui) comes across as a comical caricature rather than an actual, relatable character.
A slapstick snoozefest from start to end.
