She falls eight times, keeps going and goes viral

It wasn't the song or the dance routine that made their performance go viral.

It was the display of grit and determination.

K-pop girl group G-friend were performing their single Me Gustas Tu at the 2015 Hyundai eco-driving concert on Saturday (Sept 5).

A fan-cam video of their performance has gone viral, having been viewed over 2 million times, reported Allkpop.

It was group member Yuju's performance (she wears a white knee guard in the video) that had struck a chord with netizens.

Just 25 seconds into their performance, she takes a tumble.

She falls again soon after, and again and again.

Each time she face plants on the stage, she quickly gets up and continues dancing.

Throughout the four-minute song, she fell eight times.

SinB also fell once but like Yuju, it did not deter her from finishing their performance.

According to Mail Online, rain had made the stage very slippery — and as the video shows — difficult to dance on without falling down.

TIME claims that the video has been a inspiration because the girls demonstrate that "no matter how many times life knocks you down, just get back up and carry on".

Commented Nikita Bradbury on the YouTube video: "They are so professional but even so, the people hosting this should be sued for not preventing the slips and falls.

"Yes okay it was raining but surely they could have mopped the stage or done something to prevent them harm. I really hope these girls are okay."

Wrote Maomi: "Yuju, the girl who kept falling. She is very professional though, even after falling countless times, (I probably would have cried and gave up).

G-Friend, formed by Source Music, is a six-member South Korean girl group who made their debut in January.

Me Gustas Tu is Spanish for "I Like You."
