5 more feeder bus services in 4 estates like AMK, Clementi
Two private bus operators have been awarded contracts to run five peak-hour short services in Ang Mo Kio, Clementi, Yishun and Woodlands.
The new services, which will connect residents there to nearby MRT stations or bus interchanges, will be launched progressively from the end of this year, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said yesterday.
They will add on to existing feeder bus services, with at least five trips per hour on weekday mornings and evenings, excluding public holidays.
Bus-Plus Services will operate four of the new routes.
Services in AMK, Clementi, Yishun and Woodlands
One will be from Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange to Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.
In Clementi, a new service will connect the bus interchange to West Coast Road.
Yishun residents will get two new services. From the bus interchange, one will connect to Yishun Avenue 1 and the other to Yishun Avenue 3.
In Woodlands, Rui Feng Chartered will operate a feeder service from the bus interchange to Marsiling Lane.
