BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER: The Chinatown Food Street is back in business after a $5 million facelift. It reopened yesterday after a two-month delay caused by construction issues and congestion from shoppers during the festive season. The food street, which features 24 street hawker shops, six shophouse restaurants and several street kiosks, will open from 11am to 11pm daily. Its operator, Select Group, expects it to attract some 6,000 to 8,000 visitors daily.
