This is the number of working Singaporeans who are happy overall, with 9 in 10 indicating that marriage and parenthood contributed significantly to one's happiness, according to a survey last year by NTUC's family development unit. In 2012, 62 per cent said there were happier after marriage, with 77 per cent saying they were happier after becoming parents.
