This is the amount Singapore could contribute to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, an increase from its previous subscription amount of$49.3 million (US$38.6 million). Of this new amount, $48.6 million will be paid from the Government Budget set last year. The remainder will not be drawn by the World Bank arm that supports poorer countries except in extreme circumstances.
