An exclusion clause on the enrolment form at a Jurong West PAP Community Foundation (PCF) centre has been removed, the PCF told The New Paper on Tuesday (Jan 6).

The Straits Times had reported that a parent was unhappy with the clause which excluded PCF Nanyang Student Care Centre's teachers from responsibility if the children got injured due to the teachers' negligence.

The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and PCF were looking into the matter.

PCF told The New Paper that after discussing the issue with MSF, and because of the concerns highlighted, they have removed the clause.

PCF said the centre opened in 1998 with about 50 students enrolled there.
