PM Lee thanks Singaporeans for their well-wishes after announcing his cancer diagnosis

An hour after it was announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong thanked Singaporeans for their support and well-wishes on Facebook.
PM Lee is set to undergo a robot-assisted keyhole prostatectomy, which will be carried out at the Singapore General Hospital.
He also posted a photo taken by his wife, Ho Ching, after undergoing a prostate biopsy, which detected the cancer, last month.
Mr Lee also added: "I'm all set for my op tomorrow, and so are my surgeon and medical team."
