10 long weekends to look forward to in 2016

This article is more than 12 months old

With one Facebook post, the Singapore government showed how they are certainly working with you, for you and for Singapore.

On Monday, Gov.sg posted an infographic on its Facebook page showing how Singaporeans can enjoy 10 long weekends in 2016 by taking just five days of leave.

In other words, with just five days of leave, you will be able to enjoy 32 blissful non-working days.

The best way to beat the #MondayBlues is by planning your holidays!

The only public holiday where you have to take more than one day of your precious leave is Hari Raya Puasa.

In 2016, it falls on Wednesday, July 6, which means you need to take leave on Thursday and Friday to enjoy a long weekend.

If you are successful, you will have a whopping five day weekend.

In comparison, in 2015, you only had to take three days of leave to enjoy 10 long weekends.

Of course, whether your boss approves your leave is an entirely different matter.

Better chope fast ... Good luck!
