SIA plane nose gear collapses at Changi Airport
The nose gear of a Singapore Airlines (SIA) Airbus A330-300 collapsed at a gate at Terminal 3 of Changi Airport at around 8am on Sunday (Oct 11).
In a statement, SIA said no passengers or crew members were on board.
An engineer who was on it was not injured.
The aircraft last operated flight SQ835 which arrived at Singapore from Shanghai Pudong International Airport in China at 12.50am on Sunday.
It was next due to have operated SQ890 to Hong Kong this morning.
SIA said another plane was used for that flight as maintenance was being carried out on the affected aircraft.
SIA said that it will be co-operating fully with the authorities in their investigations.
