Sun Ho posts on Facebook after guilty verdict: 'We are disappointed'

Following the conviction charges of all six accused in the City Harvest Church, its co-founder and executive director Ho Yeow Sun, more popularly known as Sun Ho, has posted a statement on Facebook saying that she was "disappointed by the outcome".

Ho's husband Kong Hee, 51, founder of the church along with five others including former finance manager Serina Wee, 38, were found guilty of criminal breach of trust and/or falsifying accounts after a trial that stretched over two years.

In her Facebook post, Ho said: "Pastor Kong and the rest are studying the judgment intently and will take legal advice from their respective lawyers in the days to come."

She also urged Church followers to "stay the course with CHC 2.0". She had also said: "Since 2012, we have had a new management and a Church Board running the operations of the church."

Ho also said: "More than ever before, let's have a unity that is unbreakable. We are not alone as many of our friends and churches around the world are also interceding fervently for us."
