Two hurt in four-vehicle accident at Victoria Street
A man and a woman were injured late Wednesday night (Sep 2) in an accident involving an SBS bus, an SMRT taxi and two cars at the junction of Ophir Road and Victoria Street.
Police said they received a call at about 11.50pm.
When The New Paper arrived at the scene at about 1am, there were only three vehicles spotted at the accident site close to the pedestrian crossing at Golden Landmark Shopping Complex.
The trunk of the taxi was dented and its front was badly damaged.
The male taxi driver and a female passenger, both 52, were conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
It is not known which vehicle the woman was in during the accident.
