Teen boys charged in Court for Toa Payoh rooftop vandalism

The five 17-year-old boys behind the Blk 85A Lorong 4 Toa Payoh rooftop graffiti case now face the possibility of being sent to jail and getting at least three strokes of the cane if found guilty.

The boys - Goh Rong Liang, David William Graaskov, Chay Nam Shen, Boaz Koh Wen Jie and Reagan Tan Chang Zhi - were brought to the State Courts this morning (Saturday). They face vandalism charges and will be remanded for a week for further investigations.

All Singaporeans, the boys were arrested yesterday (Friday), two days after the incident.

This offence carries a punishment of imprisonment of up to three years or fine up to S$2,000, and can be punished with at least three strokes of the cane.
