Video of swerving van riles netizens
A van on the PIE kept forcing motorcyclists into the next lane by purposely cutting into their path.
The green van did this 10 times to motorcyclists near the Eng Neo Avenue exit.
A six-minute video of the reckless driver, which has been circulating on Facebook, was shared across various Singapore news Facebook groups such as All Singapore Stuff and Kaki News Network.
All Singapore Stuff posted the video around 7am yesterday. It has been shared more than 2,000 times and has more than 270 likes.
The video was recorded by the driver of the vehicle directly behind the van.
In the first instance, when the motorcycle with a pillion rider passed the van, it swerved towards them, forcing them into the other lane.
GESTURING ANGRILY
The motorcyclist could be seen gesturing angrily with his hands towards the driver.
The next motorcycle, behind the first, stayed clear of the van and chose to ride into the other lane.
The van swerved around 10 times, causing approaching motorcyclists to move into other lanes and even blocked some of them from overtaking.
The video has sparked a tirade of angry comments online, calling the driver reckless and also asking for him to be punished.
Mr Mohammad Yusoff Bin Salleh said: "Do send the video to TP (traffic police), you never know, for your action might prevent an accident or someone's life being lost to this kind of drivers."
Mr Ong Kim Hua, president of the Motorcycle Safety and Sports Club, said: "It's very inconsiderate. Drivers like this cannot be doing this every day and walk away without any penalty."
