WATCH: Grown men cry when they go through 'childbirth' at China hospital
Some men got a taste of what it's like to be a pregnant woman - and they broke down in tears.
Male volunteers at a hospital in Shandong province, eastern China, found out first-hand the agony of labour pains - when they were hooked up to a childbirth simulator on Nov 4.
The "Pain Experience Camp" aims to let men understand what the fairer sex endures during labour.
They would then gain a better appreciation and respect for what women go through, Central European News reported.

Many volunteers, whose pregnant wives sat beside them grinning, cried when hit by "contractions", which were created with machines that stimulate the men's abs with electric shocks.
Pain Experience Camp participant Guang Liao, 29. lived to tell the tale.
"My wife is expecting a baby in three months and we had a row when I told (her) not to make such a fuss. When she found out about this project, she told me I had to sign up for it, so I also know what it's all about."
- Participant Guang Liao, 29
"It was really incredibly painful and I only had it for a few minutes. If it went on for hours, I don't know if I'd be able to bear it."
- Guang Liao
The idea was seemingly inspired by two Dutch TV hosts last year.
They went through two hours of simulated contractions to determine the pain, which they later described as torture.
