Abusive girlfriend burnt boyfriend’s penis with hair straighteners

He had been regularly abused by his then-girlfriend.

So much so that he agreed to an unusual punishment.

This led to his girlfriend Bronwyn Parker, 22, burning his penis with her hair straightener and her subsequent appearance in court.

Parker, from Mount Barker in South Australia, pleaded guilty to causing serious harm over the incident which left her then boyfriend with third degree burns on his penis.

According to Metro , the couple had agreed on the punishment should he ever be unfaithful. 

He was and Parker carried out her retribution.

The victim now requires constant review by medical specialists and the healing process may take up to two years.

When interviewed by the police, Parker said that she applied the straightener for just a few seconds, thinking that it give him something like sunburn. 

She said: "To start off with, it looked brown around the outside and it didn't look too bad.

"It looked just as if you had cooked a piece of meat."

Judge Paul Muscat was not amused, reminding Parker that the victim would be scarred for life, possibly lacking normal function.

He told the court that the crime was unusual as the neither one of the couple realised the seriousness of the outcome.

The victim had described his wounds as “swollen, blistering and black in colour” reported NT News.

He did not seek immediate treatment because he was embarrassed.

Judge Muscat told Parker: "You regularly abused (the victim), including physically, if you suspected, or, if he admitted to being unfaithful to you."

Parker was given a suspended nine-month jail sentence.
