Jackie Chan has his own film academy and he's the dean
Singapore's new anti-drug ambassador Jackie Chan launched his very own film academy in China's Hubei province last week.
The Jackie Chan Film and Television Academy of the Wuhan Institute of Design and Sciences offers undergraduate courses in animation, performance and digital media, reported China Daily.
And who better to serve as the dean of the school than the man himself.
The action star said on Weibo that he had finally completed his dream of establishing his own school.
Chan has roped in his famous friends – actor Zhang Guoli, actresses Li Bingbing and Xu Fan, and director Feng Xiaogang – to serve as visiting professors at the school.
He also plans on hiring even more filmmakers to teach his students on set.

Chan, Zhang and Xu visited the school on May 20, the date of the launch.
Chan said on Weibo that he never attended university, and that he was terrified of being the dean.
Mr Yang Weiping, the institute's publicity director, said Chan will provide students with internships and job opportunities and give lessons through lectures on movie sets, reported The Moderate Voice.
Chan said he hopes to use his own experiences to teach the next generation of actors and filmmakers, reported China Daily.
