US teacher holds 'sex parties' for boys
A high school teacher in Texas, who is also a church leader, organised naked "sex parties" for teenage boys at his home.
On a door, a sign read, "The last one to strip naked loses", reported local TV station Fox 29 San Antonio.
Jared Anderson, 28, was charged last week with engaging in lewd conduct with boys.
Up until his arrest, he was teaching English at Judson High School in San Antonio, Texas.
He was also a group leader at a local church. Police declined to say if any of the alleged victims were his students.
Police said Anderson played games with at least 10 teenage boys during the parties. He also coerced the boys to engage in sexual acts with each other and with him.
He allegedly organised one party with seven boys between the ages of 15 and 17, on Feb 12.
He is also alleged to have exchanged lewd texts with a 17-year-old.
Anderson was arrested last Wednesday (March 16).
"He's having parties where he's encouraging these kids to strip naked, to perform sex acts on each other, sometimes on him," San Antonio police Sergeant Jesse Salame was quoted in The Dallas Morning News.
"Sometimes (there is) taking (of) photographs, very graphic, disgusting sexual things going on," he said.
The parents of some of the boys showed the police texts which Anderson had allegedly sent to them, saying he was sorry.
Police believe the number of alleged victims may be more than the seven to 10 who have been identified.
Anderson was held on bail totalling US$150,000 (S$200,000).
