Algeria put four goals past a woeful South Koreans to not only book their spot in the last 16 but also becoming the first African team ever to have scored four goals in a World Cup match.

Whatever the South Korean coach said to his team during the half-time, it worked as they came all guns blazing as they pulled in a goal 5 minutes into the second half.
Son Heung-min's drilled a low shot through the legs of Algeria's goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi to give the Koreans a glimmer of hope.
Algerians then took the winds out of the South Korean sails as a Yacine Brahimi netted on the 62nd minute to secure the game for the Algerians.
There was still more time for one more goal though, as South Korea scored another goal in the 72nd minute through Koo Jacheol
Alas the fairytale was not to be as the referee blew the whistle for fulltime.
