A thief in Geneva stole a mobile phone, but left his own behind. Fail, much.
His phone had photos of himself, making it easy for the victim and police to identify him.
The man, a Romanian in his early 20s, had taken the phone from a repair shop in Switzerland.
In his haste to get away, he left his own phone behind, local police said.
The shop owner identified the thief from the pictures on the phone and officers spotted him sitting at an outdoor cafe on Wednesday (July 2).
The man, who was also suspected of being in the country illegally, has denied any wrongdoing, police said.
