Vogue's ice queen Anna Wintour does the Ice Bucket Challenge

She let her famous bob haircut, which is always perfectly set, be ruined for a good cause.

If Vogue's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, and her family of seven others can participate willingly in the Ice Bucket Challenge, then anybody can. 

She was nominated for the challenge by her daughter Bee Shaffer.

In the video, which was posted on Vogue.com, Wintour nominated tennis champ Roger Federer and English actor Dominic West and his family to help continue raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

ALS is a neurodegenerative disease characterised by muscle spasticity.

Before she was dunked in ice cold water, she sternly, in typical boss style, reminded her two nominees that they had 24 hours to comply.
