The New Paper Canon NEW photo contest

To coincide with the launch of the new tnp.sg, we have a contest all about the new.

Take a picture that captures the theme of "New" and you could stand to win great prizes courtesy of Canon.

We have over $4,000 worth of prizes to give away. 

If you have ever considered moving up from taking snaps on your smartphone to getting a more dedicated photography unit, December is your month.

All you have to do is upload your picture here — no photoshop alterations,  no larger than 5mb — along with  a brief description up to 50 words and your details.

How to enter

From now (Dec 1) until Dec 31, take a picture that fits the theme "New".

It can be of anything and can be shot using any device. Phone cameras, DSLRs, whatever. As long as you can upload your image and are a Singaporean or PR over 15.

Oh yes, no photo manipulation (though resizing and adjustment for brightness and contrast is allowed).

There's no limit to how often you can enter.

1ST PRIZE

Canon EOS M5 kit I (EFM 15-45) worth $1669

2ND PRIZE

Canon EOS M3 kit  I (EFM 15-45) worth $999

3rd PRIZE

Canon EOS M10 kit I (EFM 15-45) WORTH $649

 

There are also consolation prizes of Canon Selphy CP1200 compact printers (worth $199 each) that allow users to print wirelessly from their devices

 

With these great prizes, there's no reason to not be snapping throughout December.

RULES

1. Photos must have been taken between Dec 1 2016 and Dec 31 2016
2. Images must be in jpg format, not exceed 5MB in size and be a minimum of 300dpi.
3. Photos must be taken by the entrant.
4. Contest is open to Singaporeans and PRs age 15 and above.
5. Contest closes 11.59pm, Dec 31, 2016.
6. Winners will be notified by e-mail and displayed on this page.
