Beng in Brazil: Not the only Singaporean to leave mark at the World Cup
Looks like this Ah Beng is not the only Singaporean to leave his mark in the World Cup hor?
While I choot (come up with) all sort of pattern to get onto the holy pitch in Brazil and lift the World Cup trophy, Mr Lim Kia Tong is diam diam (quietly) sitting in the office in Rio de Janeiro, deciding the fates of the pai kia (misbehaving) football superstars.

The 60-year-old lawyer is the only Singaporean on the Fifa disciplinary committee, and he is not any kuching kurap (small-role) member, you know?
Lao Lim is the deputy chairman, which means when he say one, people don't dare to say two.
When Luis Suarez go crazy and bite Giorgio Armani, sorry I mean Chiellini, Lao Lim and co. straight away ban him for four months and nine international games, and fined him 100,000 Swiss francs.
Some people say it's too much, some people say it's too little. Which probably means it's just nice.
Not a lot of people will have the balls to tell all these rich and powerful footballers to shut up, go to the naughty corner and reflect on the mistakes they made.
But Lao Lim did it. A Singaporean did it.
And all the superstars boh bian (no choice), they must follow what Lao Lim and his colleagues say.
And see what happened? Suddenly Suarez peng weh (go back on his word). At first want to geh siao (lie) and say never bite, now say sorry.
So when Lao Lim say fair play means fair play, don't play play (mess around) hor!
Not only that, he is also part of the team that fined the Algeria FA 50,000 Swiss francs because their fans anyhow shoot laser at players' eyes during the game.
They also banned a Brazil press officer because he allegedly punched Chile stiker Mauricio Pinilla, but there could be more punishment after investigations.
Even though the Singapore national team may never make it to the World Cup, at least there is some Singapore representative making his influence felt in Brazil.
I just hope he doesn't ban me for invading the pitch and stealing the trophy.
