Beng in Brazil: First Singaporean to storm a World Cup pitch?
When we Ah Bengs want to do things, we do it big.
That's why we say in hokkien: "Ai zo jiu zo dua eh."
When we wear branded goods, on our cap, t-shirt or belt, the logo must be big big.
If we open handphone shop, our LED lights must be the biggest, if not the brightest. You know what I mean.
That's why I very headache. Come to Brazil more than 10,000km, I must go out with a bang.
I must let my lao bu (mother), baby ah lian, and all my ah beng brother in Singapore know that I really go Changi to fly to Brazil and not stay at Changi Prison.
So I think very hard and then suddenly got light bulb.
Singaporeans are very scared of red paint. I don't know why.
Our flag is red, our national team jersey is red, Ah Beng favourite underwear colour is red.
So when we pour a bit on your door or wall, is decoration only mah?
In Brazil, they love to decorate their walls. Any wall they see, they must draw.
So I use my red paint and brush and write #benginBrazil, @davidLeeTNP and cut and paste some newspaper to paste on the mahjong paper.

So I take a taxi (wah lao eh around 5km cost 50 reals, almost $30!) to nearby the Arena Fonte Nova and all the fans from all over the world jalan jalan (walk) about another 1km to reach the stadium.
I have watched my favourite Aaron Kwok and SHE concerts but I never feel so high and want to cry like when I was with more than 50,000 people here.
Everybody very happy to see a real life Singapore Beng (even though they think I am from China or Japan, a bit sad nobody say Korea) in a Spain jersey and want to take picture.
Along the way, there were so many international chio bus (pretty girls). (Stay tuned for my post on the chio bus). I admit I was a bit excited liao.
And when I go to my Row O and Seat 17 seat, I really qio bi bi (cannot stop laughing). OMG IT IS SO CLOSE TO THE FIELD!
I started to wave my homemade poster, hoping the camera will see me.
When the game start I can see Robben Van Persie (their understanding so good I think they are actually the same person), Xavi and Iniesta. Not like one dot you know? But the face and all.
I don't really support Spain or Holland (Singapore all the way!) so before the match I just hope that there will be many many goals.
Hahahahaha, Holland win 5-1! Six goals sia!
That match fixer Wilson Raj and beng Dan Tan (they really did it big man) already kena tangkap (got arrested) so I don't think kelong lah.
Somemore all the goals so chio (beautiful)!
Then I receive a tweet by Noor @P00772 saying: "45 mins gone and cant spot u yet hahahaha #findingbenginahaystack"
I don't know about you. But I don't like people to laugh at me. And guys hate it when you say they small and you cannot see.
He suggest somemore: "Well RVP stole the limelight... Try harder next time like running in the field naked haha"
Another light bulb. No no no, not the naked part.
We Ah Bengs can break into anything. Schools (when late already), your house (if you do something wrong like owe us money), and ah lians hearts. #challengeaccepted
I will do what no Singapore beng has done. Break into a World Cup field in Brazil. And kiss the grass. And do warm-up. And dance (as @ernestluis dared me).
