If Holland need any inspiration to see them past Argentina in their World Cup semi-final, all they will need to do is look in the past.
The Oranje met the Albiceleste in the 1998 World Cup quarter-finals in France.
With a minute of regulation time to go, the scores were locked at 1-1 as extra time hovered over the game like a spectre.
Up stepped one Dennis Bergkamp.
Displaying his fabled technique by perfectly controlling a long diagonal ball from Frank de Boer, the Arsenal legend evaded Roberto Ayala with a cut-back before flicking the ball into the net with the outside of his right foot.
The goal was so spectacular that Dutch commentator Jack van Gelder was lost for words as he yelled Bergkamp's name again and again and again before he was reduced to tears.
So if Louis van Gaal's Holland and Alejandro's Sabella are locked at 1-1 with extra time looking all but certain, just remember 1998.
