Kiradech to meet Stenson in Match-play

Swedish world No. 3 Henrik Stenson will face Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat in the first round of this week's WGC-Accenture Match-play Championship at Dove Mountain in Arizona.

Stenson has been installed as the top seed in the absence of world No. 1 Tiger Woods and US Masters champion Adam Scott of Australia.

Woods, Scott and American world No. 4 Phil Mickelson have all opted not to play in the first of the year's four WGC events.

World No. 5 Justin Rose of England will take on American Scott Piercy in the opening round and sixth-ranked American Zach Johnson comes up against South African Richard Sterne.

Former world No. 1 Rory McIlroy faces Boo Weekley, while defending champion Matt Kuchar will launch his campaign against Austrian Bernd Wiesberger. - Reuters.
