Maria Sharapova gushes about 'fried noodles'

An iconic star on and off the court, Maria Sharapova brought her bubbly personality to an evening at The White Rabbit hosted by Evian and TAG Heuer on Wednesday (Oct 15).

The World No. 2 waved and smiled endlessly as excited fans thronged the event celebrating Evian's Live Young Now drive and kicking off TAG Heuer's Don't crack under pressure campaign.

In a short 'Now or Never' question segment, the 27-year-old was asked about the food Singapore is so famous for.

The Russian laughed and said: "It's really nice to try so much of the local food but the humidity does get into you while you eat."

She mentioned having fried noodles.

Talking about the upcoming 2014 WTA Finals, she said: "There are many other players who will be trying to win but I will be working on my consistency and focusing on my game."

Four lucky Singaporeans were invited to play a game of table tennis with Sharapova, and the 1.88m tall superstar showed her prowess in the game.
