Pacquiao hopes to hit the peak against Mayweather with mountain training
Before attempting to conquer his opponent Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao has been trying to conquer the mountains ahead of their superfight on May 2.
As part of his harsh training regime, Pacquiao has been pounding the steep mountain roads in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles.
The Filipino boxer was joined by plenty of fans who watched on in awe at his fitness as the 36-year-old did some interval training as well as stretches at the park summit.
Pacquiao’s training continues unabated in preparation for what will be the richest bout in boxing history.

The fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is expected to break the US pay-per-view record of US$152 million ($205m) set by Mayweather’s fight against Canelo Alvarez in September 2013.
It is also expected to surpass the 2.5 million buys that Mayweather’s fight against Oscar De La Hoya accumulated in 2007.
TV companies HBO and Showtime, both of whom will broadcast the fight in the US, confirmed the recommended prices for the May 2 battle as the most expensive in pay-per-view boxing history.
The fight itself will set viewers back US$89.95, but any HD surcharge up to US$10 could be added on by TV providers.
