Win tickets to The Faith Of Anna Waters gala premiere
Local director Kelvin Tong returns after a five-year hiatus with his latest horror movie The Faith Of Anna Waters.
Opening here May 12, the horror tells the story of a journalist Jamie Waters (Elizabeth Rice), who travels from Seatle to Singapore to investigate the mysterious suicide of her older sister Anna. Inexplicable events at Anna’s new house and the odd behaviour of her niece Katie (Adina Herz) lead Jamie to a string of bizarre suicides involving strange allusions to the Tower of Babel.
The supernatural forces arrayed against Jamie intensify when she receives e-mails from the dead Anna. With the help of her sister’s former husband Sam (Matthew Settle), Jamie races to solve the mystery of Anna’s death as demonic forces attack Katie and evidence mounts of the Tower of Babel rising once again – in the form of the Internet.
Tong's ninth feature film also stars local actors Adrian Pang, Jaymee Ong and Pamelyn Chee.
We have 10 pairs of gala premiere tickets to give away, courtesy of Golden Village Pictures.
The premiere is on May 9 at Golden Village VivoCity at 9pm.
