A great set of earphones can do wonders for your workout. Here are the best Bluetooth wireless earphones for under $200
AFTERSHOKZ TREKZ TITANIUM ($199)
Instead of using earbuds, the Trekz Titanium is a bone-conduction headphone that sits on the side of your head.
This allows users to hear traffic and to be more aware of their surroundings, making it perfect for runners or cyclists on the road.
The flexible and durable design makes the Trekz Titanium very comfortable to wear. Also, its squarish shape is easy to clean and maintain even after a sweaty run.
Due to the lack of noise isolation, sound quality naturally suffers. However, the quality across all spectrums is still pretty decent, with the bass being quite heavy and rich.
MEE AUDIO M9B ($59)
Despite its low price point, the M9B manages to outperform most of its entry-level competitors.
Audio quality on the M9B is well-balanced across all spectrums, with solid bass reproduction that is much better than other earphones at this price.
The highs were also good, but they had the tendency to crack up and hiss at higher volumes.
The M9B also comes with earbud tips that are double-flanged to allow for a better fit and noise isolation.
One downside is that the volume controls on the wire are a tad heavy, so their weight might pull the earbuds out of your ear during more vigorous workouts.
LG HBS-760 ($109)
Unlike the other devices in this round-up, the HBS-760 comes with an around-the-neck band.
This band not only has controls for volume, power and music playback, it also reduces the likelihood of your earbuds getting pulled out of your ears by the wires flopping around when you are exercising vigorously.
The look may not be for everyone, but you can detach the earbuds from the band and they fit rather well in the ears.
The treble on these devices is extremely crisp and absolutely amazing for its price.
The bass, on the other hand, needs a little bit of work.
JABRA SPORT ROX ($169)
This simple yet elegantly designed pair of buds has a tangle-free flat wire that is the perfect length, with volume rockers and a microphone attached.
The ear tips are comfortable and a great fit, and they shut out external noise pretty well.
You can even add "ear-wings" to give you a more snug fit for more explosive workouts.
The bass of the Sport Rox is milder than in other Jabra models, but it is still decent and blends well with other frequencies.
The treble is especially good and vocals are reproduced with high fidelity.
With 5.5 hours of both talk and listening time, the battery life of the Sport Rox is certainly above average, compared with most other models, which average around four hours when in use.
