SG50 Time Capsule: 50 things you want to see in 2065

What makes us Singaporean? And if you could bottle our essence and put it in a time capsule, what form would it take?

An identity card? An in-vehicle unit for Electronic Road Pricing gantries? A bottle of NEWater?

The Singapore50 committee is asking Singaporeans to help choose 50 items to be placed in the SG50 Time Capsule.

The items should celebrate our country's unity in diversity or sense of home or links to the world or resourcefulness and resilience.

The capsule will be opened in 2065, when our nation turns 100.

In a press release, the SG50 Programme Office said the capsule would "serve as a repository of stories that Singaporeans would like to tell our future generations".

You can either choose from a list of 50 items, or give your own suggestions.

You can also write a message, which will be sealed in the time capsule.
