April showers, heat to continue

The recent heavy rain may have been a welcome respite, but water levels in the lakes at the Botanic Gardens remained low. Warm, wet conditions are expected to prevail this month, the weatherman said yesterday. The daily maximum temperature could soar to more than 35 deg C on a few days.
