Big Walkers to receive hair treatment worth $380
Facial and hair treatment among SG50 Jubilee Big Walk 2015 goodies for participants
The fun doesn't end after you take your last step at the SG50 Jubilee Big Walk 2015 on Nov 29.
Walkers can look forward to a relaxing treat as one of the goodies worth $880 for each participant.
Walkers can head down to beauty therapist Radiance Swiss at Claymore Connect any time before March 31 next year to enjoy either a facial or hair treatment worth $380 lasting 75 minutes.
You can indulge in Radiance Swiss' Radiant StemCell Facial Treatment, which includes whitening, scar removal, anti-wrinkle, pore resurfacing and skin renewal, or its Clinical Hair Scalp Peel for scalp cleansing, hair regrowth and anti-hair loss.
If like me, you opt for the Clinical Hair Scalp Peel to pamper your tresses, here is what you can expect.
As I stepped into the interior of Radiance Swiss, I could feel myself relaxing from the soft background music and cosy ambience.
Ms Christine Chia, 32, the beauty consultant, analysed my scalp to recommend a treatment suitable for my hair problems.
For my oily scalp and clogged hair follicles, she suggested that I try a customised treatment which included a scalp oxy peel to reduce oil, remove dandruff and clean up the clogged hair follicles.
The treatment would also include scalp needling for hair rejuvenation and re-growth.
My scalp was first gently cleansed with a warm damp towel.
A peeling solution, which gives a cooling sensation when applied, was placed on my scalp to remove dead cells.
The beauty consultant, Ms Joee Kok, 25, who did my treatment, massaged my scalp for better absorption.
A Biomaster device was then used to clean off the dead cells.
After that, tonic and oxygen were sprayed on my scalp to soothe it.
Next came the microneedling. This involves using tiny needles to help serums better penetrate the scalp.
Ms Kok explained that needles used in the microneedling device were changed after each customer for hygiene purposes.
TINGLING
The procedure was painless. All I felt was a mild tingling sensation. A serum was then applied.
Next, a shoulder massage was done with lemongrass oil to soothe my tense and aching shoulder muscles.
Warm tea was then served, marking the end of the treatment.
If this treatment sounds good to you, sign up for the Jubilee Big Walk and make your appointment by mentioning "Jubilee Big Walk" when you call.
