Women spit, slap and splash drink on condo staff member
Clips of spat between condo staff member and women go viral
One hurled a four-letter word at the man.
And when he retorted, the woman and her companion got more angry.
It soon escalated into spitting and slapping. Tempers and a drink can flew.
The incidents, which happened at Simei Green condominium last month, were recorded on video and posted online.
It went viral, eliciting comments from netizens, who were shocked by what they saw.
The two women's target: A man believed to be a staff member of the Simei Green condominium management team. The women were allegedly angry after they were refused additional access cards to the property.
Three expletive-laden videos of two separate incidents showed the same two parties having a go at each other.
The videos had more than 700,000 views combined as of yesterday evening. It is not clear who took the videos.
The first video, which is about 2½ minutes long and was uploaded on May 3, shows the two women arguing with the man in the condominium's management office on April 28.
"I don't want you to serve me, okay. I look at your ugly face I feel disgusting (sic)," one of the women says.
She then hurls a four-letter word at the man. When the man retorts, the woman and her companion threaten to slap him.
THROWS DRINK
The argument soon escalates and one of the women splashes the contents of a can she is drinking from at him.
Her companion joins in, spitting at him and threatening to call the police.
The man gets angry and retaliates by hitting her. A man, who looks to be a security guard, then steps in and separates them, diffusing the scuffle.
Despite this, the two women, who speak a mixture of English and Mandarin, continue to try to hit the man behind the counter.
The video ends after one of them throws a drink can at the man and shouts at him.
The second video, which is almost three minutes long and was uploaded on May 5, shows another incident on April 30 between the women and the man, at the lift landing on the fourth storey of one of the blocks in the condominium.
Two uniformed police officers are seen mediating, as the women continue to create a scene.
One of them then soon gets upset with one of the police officers and threatens to make a complaint against him. She then takes a photo of the officer and records his name.
The other woman shouts at the officer, accusing him of not doing his job.
The video ends shortly after the women say they are going to the police station to make a report.
The third video, almost three minutes long and uploaded yesterday, is a continuation of the first, and shows one of the women hitting the man again and spitting at him repeatedly.
The woman demands an access card, believed to be for the condominium.
She also calls his mother a moron in Mandarin before the video ends.
Both women are believed to be tenants of the condominium. But the management declined to issue the access cards.
When contacted yesterday, Hilandas Property and Facilities Management, which lists Simei Green condominium as one of its projects, declined to comment on the matter.
The person answering the phone said: "The matter is under police investigation and we cannot comment or release any information pending the outcome."
When The New Paper went to the condominium yesterday, residents said they had heard of the incidents and saw the videos online but did not know at which block the incident took place.
A security guard claimed that there were no such incidents.
All Singapore Stuff, which first posted the videos on May 3, also posted articles written by netizens, who claimed one of the women in the video works at Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
But a spokesman for MBS told TNP yesterday that there was no such person on their staff.
The videos were also uploaded on citizen journalism site Stomp.
A police spokesman told TNP yesterday: "In response to media queries, police confirm that investigations are ongoing into the two separate incidents that took place in Simei Green on April 28 and 30."
No arrests are known to have been made.
I don't want you to serve me, okay. I look at your ugly face I feel disgusting (sic).

ABUSERS A MINORITY, SAYS KINDNESS MOVEMENT
Singapore Kindness Movement's (SKM's) general secretary William Wan said the actions of the two women who spat and tried to assault a condominium management employee does not reflect Singaporeans in general.
Videos of the women went viral on the Internet, fresh in the wake of news that Singapore has become more gracious.
Released on Tuesday by SKM, the annual Graciousness Index showed that Singapore scored 61 out of 100, an improvement from 55 marks last year.
While Dr Wan called the women's actions "unwarranted" and "may well constitute assault and battery", they are in the minority.
"Why should the ungracious acts of two women determine the state of our social behaviour as a whole?" he said.
