Taufik Batisah video sparks hilarious parodies
On his way to meet his fans to break fast during Ramadan on July 25, Singaporean singer Taufik Batisah posted an Instagram video, asking his fans where they were.
While his first post did not have the hashtag, subsequent posts by Taufik and his fans included the hashtags #awakkatmane.
The hashtag is a colloquial Malay phrase for asking "Where are you?"
In the video Taufik, oozing charm, tells his fans that he is on the way to meet them and then asks his fans where they are now using the now famous line.
Some of the parodies are pretty funny as his fans added their own brand of humour to the videos.
Even the characters from the Avengers made a contribution to the hashtag.
The man himself then updated his Facebook page with this.

The post tells his fans that he has something in store for them on Aug 9.
Questions abound as to what exactly he has up his sleeve, but in any case you can bet your bottom dollar that we will definitely keep you up to date.
