WATCH: Thailand rips Malaysia apart with awesome tiki-taka passing
Should we start calling the Thai team ... Thai-celona?
During Wednesday's first leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup final, Thailand provided fans with a "boys against men" moment when they ran circles around Malaysia in midfield.
Stringing 27 pinball-like passes, Kiatisuk Senamuang's men adeptly eluded the opposition's helpless attempts to win the ball before midfielder Charyl Chappuis fired his shot wide in what could have been the tournament's best goal.
Some Thais have described the play as "tik tok" or "ling ching ball"
But most will recognise the fluid, sharp and quick passing style as tiki-taka - a style most associated with Spanish football giants Barcelona.
