S’pore synchronised swimming team clinch first gold
Singapore bagged a gold medal in the synchronised swimming team event at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on Wednesday (June 3), a first for the country at the South-east Asia (SEA) Games.
Already leading the scoreboard on Tuesday with a score of 74.3445 points in the team technical routine, the eight-strong Singapore team went on to retain pole position with 76.5000 points for the team free routine, taking their total tally to 150.8445 points.
Malaysia won silver with a combined score of 146.3264, and Indonesia clinched bronze with 138.1796 points.
