Singapore retain water polo gold
The Singapore men's water polo team kept alive their perfect streak at the South-east Asia (SEA) Games after winning a 26th consecutive gold medal at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on Tuesday.
Despite facing stern resistance from Indonesia led by five-goal hero Brandley Legawa, the Singaporeans led at every break to claim a 15-10 win in the final.
Yip Yang was Singapore's top scorer with four goals, while captain Eugene Teo, Loh Zhi Zhi, Chiam Kunyang and Marcus Goh all added two goals each.
The gold was also Team Singapore's last at the 2015 Games, taking their total tally up to 84 golds.
