TNP digital access, Aug 9 edition a hit

Did you get your three-day The New Paper digital access card during the National Day Golden Jubilee celebrations?

Well, 300,000 people did, when TNP partnered retail giant Courts and the National Day Parade Committee to distribute a special three-day access card at various points around the Marina Bay Floating Platform and MRT stations around the Marina Basin on Aug 9.

The card was distributed in conjunction with the nation's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

All 300,000 cards were distributed in just over three hours, with the help of NDP ambassadors who handed out the cards around the Marina Bay area as well.

Cardholders were given three days of complimentary access to digital editions of TNP and can also redeem $50 in Courts e-Vouchers using a code on the card.

According to an SPH circulation division spokesperson, promoters received an overwhelming response from the crowd at the MRT station locations.

Some commuters asked if they could have more than one card and others approached the promoters even after all the cards had been given out.

TNP deputy editor S. Murali said: "We are happy that our card and our special Aug 9 edition of TNP were so well received.

"We hope that people also make use of the Courts $50 e-Voucher before it expires on Aug 31."

REDEMPTION

To redeem the Courts $50 e-Voucher, cardholders need to:

• Go to www.courts.com.sg
• Add the items you wish to purchase to the online cart.
• Key in the promo code 'COURTSG50' when you check out.

Customers can use the e-Voucher for a one-time redemption of $50 for their online purchases on the Courts website.

The promotion code is valid till Aug 31.
