Aaron Aziz takes home Best Actor, Most Popular Artiste in M'sia

Singapore actor Aaron Aziz continued his winning streak across the Causeway, with two major wins at Malaysia's annual Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian awards over the weekend. 

The 38-year-old, who  took home both the Most Popular Artiste and Best Actor trophies on Saturday evening at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre. 

In 2013 alone he starred in three blockbusters - Lari, KL Gangster 2 and Kerat 14. 

"Thanks to my fans, the Aaronators, and everybody who supported my career," Aaron said during his acceptance speech.

He also walked home with a Nissan Almera for his Most Popular Artiste win. 

The winners are voted on by readers of Malaysia's Berita Harian newspaper.
