Gonzo the tambourine master brings the house down in Asia's Got Talent show
Did you catch Asia's Got Talent on AXN on Thursday (March 12) night?
Predictably, there was the usual run of sob stories from people with immense talent.
But there were also a few weird acts that were surprisingly good.
A lot of this "weird" came courtesy of the Japanese participants, but we're definitely not complaining. Just take a look at the performance of Gonzo, a tambourine master.
We weren't expecting too much after seeing his get-up. We were just hoping he wouldn't take off any more clothing.
And honestly, how exciting can a tambourine performance be?
Well, Gonzo proved us dead wrong.
The 29-year-old man was one of our favourite performers from last night's episode.
Double Dutch group Alttype from Japan also whipped up an amazing performance.
And remember those immensely talented people we talked about earlier? Their powerful vocals brought down the house.
Toshanbor from India gave a beautiful opera performance.
Not surprising, considering the 23-year-old was the fourth runner up in season four of India’s Got Talent.
Ten-year-old Gwyneth Dorado from the Philippines also gave a stunning rendition of Katy Perry's Roar and earned herself a signature from David Foster, who is one of the four judges.
The other judges are former Spice Girl Melanie C, Indonesian singer Anggun, and Taiwanese-American pop idol Van Ness Wu.
Take a look at what some of the other contestants did.
