Hugh Jackman debuts his bald head

Hugh Jackman introduced the world to his newly shaven (and pointy looking) head on his Instagram account yesterday.

The caption read: "Blackbeard is born. #PAN"

Which of course points to him playing the character Blackbeard in the upcoming remake of the children's classic Peter Pan, slated to be released next year.

This explains why Wolverine was hosting the Tony Awards with a full beard on Sunday night (June 8).

He, of course, is no stranger to transforming how he looks for a role, he had to use beard extensions for his role as Jean Valjean in 2012's Les Miserables.

So far, the post has garnered just under 45,000 likes and over 3,600 comments, which means that at least the movie Pan is getting good publicity. 

Now, there's filming it.
