#1 Breakfast Show team to join run
ONE FM's #1 Breakfast Show team is gearing up for a fit 2016.
DJ Glenn Ong, 45, and producer Shaun Tupaz, 28, will be taking part in the NTUC Income RUN 350.
It takes place at the F1 Pit Building on April 10.
Tupaz said half-jokingly: "As a commando, you're built with stamina, strength and speed, so whenever you switch it on, it's on. So I can run 10km with my eyes closed."
On his own prep, Ong said: "I'm going to run maybe thrice a week and do my usual Brazilian jiu-jitsu training twice or thrice a week and maybe Muay Thai."
RUN 350 will also introduce a new category, Fun On Wheels, in which participants can cycle, in-line skate or kick-scoot through a 4km route.
One of the participants will be DJ Andre Hoeden, 40, who said: "I love kick-scooters because there's no other way to chase my children. The only reason I have one is because I bought two for my kids and I realised I can't chase them around the condo.
"So that same evening, I went out to buy an adult kick-scooter - so now I'm faster than they are."
